James Joyce Veterans Museum

Heritage Park Veterans Museum opened its doors on Veterans Day, November 11, 2010, with just five glass display cases, nine mannequins, and 15 uniforms.
 

Completely unfunded, the museum has grown through the generosity of individuals and organizations. Every artifact and uniform on display has either been donated or loaned to the museum. Today, the collection represents the history and service of our nation’s veterans from World War I through the present day.

 

Just a short walk across the bridge in Heritage Park, McDonough, Georgia, stands the Veterans Wall of Honor, providing another meaningful tribute to those who have served our country.

 

Since its inception, the Heritage Park Veterans Museum has grown into a place of learning, remembrance, reverence, and healing—preserving the stories and sacrifices of our veterans for generations to come.
